WHAT ARE THE SESSION RATES?

Individual therapy sessions are $140 per 50-minute session. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available for those with financial need, please inquire for availability.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?

Each therapy session is 50 minutes in length, allowing us time to explore your experiences, goals, and progress at a meaningful pace. This dedicated time supports a consistent rhythm for reflection, healing, and growth.

Question 3

WHAT THERAPY APPROACHES OR MODALITIES DO YOU USE?

Accepted Answer

I primarily work from the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to support understanding and healing of the parts of you that carry pain, work to protect you, or feel stuck. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities when helpful to support practical, day-to-day coping.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Direct billing is available for eligible clients through Medavie Blue Cross, GreenShield, and TELUS Health, which includes providers such as Manulife and Canada Life. For other insurance plans, a receipt will be provided for you to submit for reimbursement. Please check with your provider to confirm coverage for services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Direct billing is available with select insurance providers for eligible clients. For all other clients, payment is required within one hour of your session and can be completed by e-transfer to hello@restoringharmony.ca (mailto:hello@restoringharmony.ca)or by credit card.

DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON THERAPY?

Therapy sessions are primarily offered virtually, providing the flexibility to connect from the comfort of your own space. Sessions are available by phone or through a secure video platform similar to Zoom. In-person sessions are also available on Wednesdays only.

WHAT IS THE TYPICAL FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS?

Sessions are typically scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs, goals, and availability. We’ll work together to find a pace that feels supportive and manageable for you.

Question 8

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR CANCELLING OR MISSING AN APPOINTMENT?

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be subject to the full session fee of $140.

DO YOU OFFER CRISIS OR EMERGENCY SESSIONS?

I am not able to provide crisis or emergency counselling. If you are going through a difficult or overwhelming moment and need immediate support, you are not alone, and help is available.
